THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON (2019)

Originally performed by an all male cast, this devised piece of theatre follows the Old Man on his quest to find his wife, who disappears after many years of neglect due to her husband's exhausting job of filling the moon with liquid light. Set on a ship in the Victorian Era with elements of fantasy, my essential beauty for this show was "a rugged, imaginative adventure". My goal was to depict elements of each character's intricate backstory through their appearance with the use of scars, age lines, and facial hair.
