Taking place in New York City in the 1930s, Annie follows the journey of an optimistic young orphan and her search for a loving home. For this hypothetical, I prioritized period research with the hopes of representing the era of the Great Depression accurately by showing the disparities between the upper and lower classes, while still using color to convey the emotions of each character.
