Upon reading this scene from Almost, Maine, I was given the freedom to choose the era and setting of this hypothetical design. I decided to set Where it Went in the 1960s because of Marci's feminist expression of malcontent in her marriage. Because this scene took place on a frozen pond, I took inspiration from winter clothing ads from the era.
